Joy in Mobility becomes beneficiary of Coachella Valley Spin’s Tour de Palm Springs February 13, 2010

Coachella Valley Spin, sponsor of the Tour de Palm Springs, has included Incight to be one of its non-profit partners for 2010 and is inviting handcyclists to register for the upcoming Tour de Palm Springs and support our valley’s youths with disabilities. 

  • Handcycling is a recreational and rehabilitative form of outdoor exercise enjoyed by people who have limited or no use of their legs for locomotion.

  • Handcycling is growing in popularity with Iraqi and Afghani veterans who have sustained military service related disabilities and are supporting Incight students with disabilities who ride in the Tour de Palm Springs.

Handcyclists can have their registration fee waved


If you are a hand cyclist and would like to have your entrance fee waived:
 
  •  Print and complete Tour de Palm Springs "mail in" registration form found at here.
 
  • Write “HANDCYCLIST:  PLEASE WAIVE FEE” on the entrance form.
 
  • MAIL (on or after December 2nd, 2009 - do not submit online) entrance form to:  CVSPIN / TDPS, 74854 Velie Way Ste. 9, Palm Desert, CA 92260

 

If you are otherwise riding in the Tour de Palm Springs and would like to donate your registration fee to Incight:
 
  • Complete Tour de Palm Springs registration form found at here.
 
  • Please choose "Incight Company" as your Organization/Charity.

If you are riding for someone who can’t, we would like to share your story.  Please write a short narrative below and email it to jim@incight.org.  We will post your story on our website at Incight.org.
